THE PLAYBOOK
Practice football in your browser
Learn movement, shooting and stadium layouts in a local Ball2D practice session with a bot.
Start locally
Choose Practice from the room directory. Ball2D starts a local session with your player and a bot. You do not need to create an online room or wait for another player.
Practice is useful for learning the distance at which kicks connect, moving around the ball and trying different angles on goal. It is not a multiplayer match and does not contribute to a ranked record.
Build a repeatable drill
Move with WASD or arrows and kick with Space or X. Try carrying the ball along the side of the pitch, turning toward goal and passing off a wall. Repeat the same approach from both sides to understand momentum.
Open Stadiums to inspect a built-in layout or validate a custom stadium. Applying a stadium replaces the local pitch. If you are recording, the existing replay is saved before a stadium change.
Move to multiplayer
When you are ready, return to Rooms to find or host a session. A bot is a practice aid; human players and network conditions create a different experience. Practice results and files are not uploaded as cloud progress.
