Ball2D is free browser football with player-hosted rooms, local practice, custom stadiums and downloadable replays.
Football, directly in the browser
Ball2D is a free 2D football game built around short sessions with friends. Browse player-hosted rooms, split into red and blue teams, or open practice with a bot. Play requires a modern desktop browser, JavaScript, WebAssembly and a keyboard.
Anonymous play remains available. Optional accounts manage profiles, teams and SDK API keys; a ranked ladder and cloud match progression are not available. Custom stadiums and replay files are managed through the browser and your own device.
How online play works
Cloudflare services coordinate room discovery and signaling. The host browser runs the authoritative match and communicates with guests through peer connections. This makes the host device and network part of the playing experience.
Ball2D is an independent project. Compatibility with another game’s files or APIs should be checked against the specific feature; it is not an affiliation or a promise of complete compatibility.
